Explore Àger valley from the sky

The Canyon Flight is our favorite. We would like you to enjoy the spectacular views of one of the magnificent canyons of Àger valley: Montrebei canyon or Terradets canyon. We will launch a tandem paraglider from one of the 5 sites on the Montsec and glide down a 600 to 1,050 m gradient.

This flight takes place in the middle of the day, from 11h according to the time of year. We will try to find the thermals (ascending air currents produced by the action of the sun) that will allow us to make a flight of around 30' to 45'. During the flight we will usually be able to get close to the canyons of Montrebei or Terradets and enjoy the spectacular views.

Free flight is a motorless flight, that is why it depends entirely on the meteorological conditions. Therefore, we will do everything in our hand to take you to the canyons but we can’t promise. If your flight is much shorter, due to meteorological conditions, we will adjust the final price according to the duration of your flight.

Access to the launch site

Transport to the launch site is included in the price of the Flight Baptism. There are 5 launch sites on the Montsec. Two sites can be reached by road and the remaining must be reached by a forest track. We will take you up in an Entrenúvols vehicle and the driver will assist you during launch.

THE FLIGHT EXPERIENCE

We will meet at our facilities in Àger.
After making introductions and getting everything ready, we will drive up the Montsec to the launch site in a van or a 4 by 4 vehicle.
We will give you a quick briefing about the equipment and give you some simple instructions, we’ll get the equipment ready and....fly!

To fly we will NOT jump off any cliffs. We will take some running steps down a gentle slope and before you know it you will be in the air and flying. There is no sudden jolt, free fall or anything similar. Launch is very smooth.
The whole activity will have kept us busy for just over an hour, as long as the meteorological conditions behave.

WHO CAN FLY?

Absolutely anybody who wants to fly with a tandem paraglider in Àger. We have flown with children of 3 and with adults over 80 years old. No previous knowledge is needed and you do not have to be particularly fit.

Do you have limited mobility? We have equipment specially adapted for persons with physical or mental disabilities. The only flights in which the adapted equipment cannot be used are the Morning Glory and the Lake Flight.

ACROBATICS

All our flights can include basic acrobatic maneuvers such as Wing Overs, Spirals and Dives, the choice is completely up to you! We will not charge you extra. You are the boss during your flight and if you want a taste of acrobatics it will be our pleasure to provide it!
