Experience to the fullest the sensation of flying with a paraglider

A dream flight over the Àger valley...

The Thermal Performance flight baptism will allow you to fully experience all the possibilities of paragliding. We will take to the sky in a tandem paraglider from one of the 5 launch sites on the Montsec and descend a 600 to 1,050 m gradient.

In this flight we will be able to glide over the Àger valley, enjoying spectacular sights such as the canyons of Montrebei and Terradets, the reservoirs of Canelles and Camarassa, etc…

This flight takes place during the central hours of the day. Our professional pilots will seek out thermals (ascending air currents produced by the action of the sun), that will allow us to fly for about 1 hour. The duration of the flight depends on the meteorological conditions so we can’t guarantee a minimum duration time. If your flight lasts less than 45′, due to meteorological conditions, you will be charged the same price as the “Canyon Flight”.

Access to the launch site

Transport to the launch site is included in the price of the Flight Baptism. There are 5 launch sites on the Montsec. Two sites can be reached by road and the remaining must be reached by a forest track. We will take you up in an Entrenúvols vehicle and the driver will assist you during launch.

PHOTO and VIDEO report

If you wish, you can purchase the photo and video report of your flight. We use the latest professional quality GoPro cameras. We will hand you the report in a USB pen a few minutes after landing.

THE FLIGHT EXPERIENCE

We will meet at our facilities in Àger.
After making introductions and getting everything ready, we will drive up the Montsec to the launch site in a van or a 4 by 4 vehicle.
We will give you a quick briefing about the equipment and give you some simple instructions, we’ll get the equipment ready and....fly!

To fly we will NOT jump off any cliffs. We will take some running steps down a gentle slope and before you know it you will be in the air and flying. There is no sudden jolt, free fall or anything similar. Launch is very smooth.
The whole activity will have kept us busy for just over an hour, as long as the meteorological conditions behave.

WHO CAN FLY?

Absolutely anybody who wants to fly with a tandem paraglider in Àger. We have flown with children of 3 and with adults over 80 years old. No previous knowledge is needed and you do not have to be particularly fit.

Do you have limited mobility? We have equipment specially adapted for persons with physical or mental disabilities. The only flights in which the adapted equipment cannot be used are the Morning Glory and the Lake Flight.

ACROBATICS

All our flights can include basic acrobatic maneuvers such as Wing Overs, Spirals and Dives, the choice is completely up to you! We will not charge you extra. You are the boss during your flight and if you want a taste of acrobatics it will be our pleasure to provide it!
